The clinical trial NCT03808389 is a study on the effects of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) on patients with Morbus Parkinson / Parkinson's Disease (PD). The trial aims to investigate the potential of FMT in improving the symptoms of Parkinson's disease by restoring eubiosis in the gut through the transfer of healthy gut microbiota from a screened individual to the patient.
Primary outcome measures:
Changes in clinical symptoms as scored on the MDS-UPDRS (Movement Disorder Society - Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale)
