In this 70-day randomized, placebo-controlled, cross-over trial, it was discovered that Grape Pomace Polyphenols, specifically Taurisolo TM, serve as an effective nutraceutical approach for preventing atherosclerosis. This is due to the significant reduction in Trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO) levels, which decreased by 49.78% after 4 weeks and 75.80% after 8 weeks.
