A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase II treatment trial (Parallel Assignment) evaluating Dupilumab vs Itepekimab vs Dupilumab + Itepekimab vs placebo in 296 randomized adults with moderateto-severe asthma.

An event indicating a loss of asthma control, assessed in the itepekimab group and the combination group, as compared with the placebo group
Conclusion:
Blocking Interleukin-33 with itepekimab resulted in fewer events that indicate a loss of asthma control compared to placebo, and it also enhanced lung function in patients with moderate-to-severe asthma.
