In the context of Omalizumab & IgE-mediated food allergy, the US FDA approved omalizumab in February 2024 for the reduction of allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, that may occur with accidental exposure to one or more foods in adults and children aged ≥1 year with IgE-mediated food allergy (1).
