The clinical trial NCT03759730, also known as the ROMA LA-OPSCC study, is focused on evaluating the role of the microbiome as a biomarker in locoregionally-advanced Oropharyngeal Cancer (OPC) (LA-OPSCC). The study prospectively characterizes the oral and gut microbiome of patients with LA-OPSCC who are treated with definitive chemoradiotherapy. The research aims to understand the potential of microbiome data as a biomarker in this patient population
