Bevacizumab + Chemotherapy (CT) is a known treatment for ovarian cancer. It is mainly used for newly diagnosed stage III/IV disease. It is also used for recurrent cases that are either platinum-sensitive or platinum-resistant. The main benefit is improved progression-free survival. However, it does not consistently improve overall survival for all patients. After initial surgery, the FDA-approved treatment is bevacizumab with carboplatin and paclitaxel.
