The authors' conclusion was: Maintenance rucaparib, following platinum-based chemotherapy, extended PFS in Bladder cancer (DNA repair deficiency (DRD)) and was tolerable. Further investigation of poly ADP-ribose polymerase inhibition in selected patients with metastatic Bladder cancer is warranted.
