The authors concluded the following. In a 4-week trial, Ulotaront was tested. It involved patients with acute schizophrenia exacerbation. SEP-363856 is a non-D2-receptor-binding antipsychotic. It reduced the PANSS total score more than placebo. Longer and larger trials are needed.
