Inotuzumab ozogamicin has received approval from both the FDA in the United States and the EMA in the European Union for treating adults with relapsed or refractory B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) (CD22+). This approval is specifically for patients whose disease has either not responded to previous treatments or has returned following prior therapy (1, 2).
