A study involved 27 children with Atopic Dermatitis / Atopic Eczema, which first appeared during breastfeeding.
The children were treated with either Bifidobacterium animalis lactis BB-12 or Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) in a whey preparation, or with a whey preparation without probiotics.
After 2 months, children who received probiotics exhibited a significant improvement in the extent and severity of Atopic Dermatitis / Atopic Eczema. The improvement was measured using the SCORAD symptom score.…
