In mice, the administration of Anti-PD-L1 antibodies / PD-L1 inhibitors + Bifidobacterium / Bifidobacter species almost completely eliminated tumor growth. This effect was mediated by the improved function of dendritic cells, which led to enhanced priming and accumulation of CD8+ T cells within the tumor microenvironment.
