Anti-CTLA-4 / CTLA-4 antibodies + Anti-PD-1 antibodies / PD-1 inhibitors & Melanoma (cutaneous)

In cutaneous melanoma, Anti-CTLA-4 / CTLA-4 antibodies + Anti-PD-1 antibodies / PD-1 inhibitors mainly refers to ipilimumab + nivolumab, a first-line standard option for unresectable or metastatic disease that generally produces higher response rates and longer progression-free survival than ipilimumab alone, with some of the strongest long-term survival data among checkpoint regimens. The tradeoff is substantially higher immune-related toxicity than PD-1 monotherapy, so patient selection matters.
