Baricitinib & Atopic Dermatitis / Atopic Eczema

Approval status

EMA has approved baricitinib (Olumiant TM) for adults and children from 2 years of age with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis/atopic eczema, when treatments applied to the skin are not sufficient or appropriate (1, 3)

Also, recently approved in Japan for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in adult patients at doses of 2 and 4 mg daily (1)
