Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy (CRT) remains the mainstay treatment for locally advanced Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) / Nasopharynx cancer. For stage III and IV Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) / Nasopharynx cancer, there is level 1 evidence supporting the use of induction chemotherapy followed by concurrent Chemoradiotherapy (CRT). However, there is increasing evidence questioning the routine use of adjuvant chemotherapy after Chemoradiotherapy (CRT).
