The purpose of the study is to determine if advanced prostate cancer patients that are treated with radiotherapy (RT) plus ipilimumab live longer that those treated with RT alone.
Primary outcome measures:
Overall Survival (OS)
The authors' conclusion was: Although there was no significant difference between the ipilimumab group and the placebo group in terms of overall survival in the primary analysis, there were signs of activity with the drug that warrant further investigation.
