Background:

Recurrent hepatic encephalopathy (HE) remains a significant reason for hospital readmissions, even when patients receive the standard of care (SOC). This condition is often linked to dysbiosis. Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has the potential to improve this dysbiosis (1)
