Bezlotoxumab & Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) (recurrent)

Bezlotoxumab is approved by both the FDA and EMA for the prevention of Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) (recurrent) in adults who are receiving antibacterial therapy for CDI and are at high risk for recurrence. It is a monoclonal antibody targeting toxin B produced by C. difficile and is used as an adjunct to standard-of-care antibiotic therapy to reduce the risk of recurrent infection.
