XXX - Bifidobacterium breve + Lacticaseibacillus casei Shirota / Yakult & Diarrhea / Diarrhoea (radiation-induced)

Study overview

It is a randomized, double-blind clinical trial studying Bifidobacterium breve + Lacticaseibacillus casei Shirota / Yakult or placebo in 40 women with either cervical or endometrial cancer under pelvic Radiation / Radiotherapy (RT) (1)

Primary outcome measures

Reducing the incidence of diarrhea, defined by a CTC of 2 or greater, or the need for loperamide (1)

Results (1)

• Grade 2 or greater diarrhea was observed in:
