This is a randomized controlled clinical treatment trial studying Bifidobacterium breve + Galactooligosaccharides (GOS) + Lacticaseibacillus casei & Type 2 diabetes (T2D) or control in 88 randomized patients with Type 2 diabetes (T2D)
Change in IL-6 from 0 to 24 weeks
The administration of Bifidobacterium breve Yakult + Galactooligosaccharides (GOS) + Lacticaseibacillus casei Shirota did not result in significant changes in interleukin-6 levels from baseline to 24 weeks. The measurements were 0.35 ± 1.99 pg/mL at baseline compared to −0.24 ± 1.75 pg/mL after 24 weeks.
