According to the study identified as NCT03751007, both AG019 and the combination of AG019 with Teplizumab were well tolerated by participants. The combination of AG019 with Teplizumab may also produce additional biological effects, such as alterations in preproinsulin-specific T-cells. These initial findings provide a basis for continuing research with AG019, both as a standalone treatment and in combination with Teplizumab or other systemic immunotherapies for Type 1 Diabetes.
