Inulin prevents NAFLD in mice via modulating gut microbiota. It suppresses the LPS-TLR-4-NF-κB-NLRP3 inflammatory pathway in liver macrophages via the gut-liver axis. Inulin reduced liver macrophages and TLR-4 expression of liver macrophages in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. It suppressed NLRP3-Inflammasome and NF-κB in liver of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. It restored gut dysbiosis in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease mice demonstrating through an enhanced content of short-chain fatty acids in mice feces
