Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) is being studied for Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) (associated infections). It aims to restore the microbiome after chemotherapy and antibiotics. The goals are to reduce dysbiosis and infections. It may also help with treatment complications. Clinical data shows FMT is feasible and safe in trials. It helps with microbiota recovery.
