This study is focused on the modulation of the gut microbiome in patients with locoregionally advanced oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LA-OPSCC) who are treated with standard of care chemoradiotherapy. It is an investigator-initiated study aimed at evaluating the potential of Microbial Ecosystem Therapeutic 4 (MET4) in this patient population.
Primary outcome measure
Relative abundance of MET-4 associated bacterial strains in stool samples collected at week 4, end of Chemoradiotherapy (CRT) and 2-month follow-up timepoints, safety
