The PALISADE Group of Clinical Investigators 2018 N Engl J Med 379: 1991-2001
A double-blind and placebo-controlled phase III trial was conducted including participants (aged 4 to 55) with peanut allergies. 100 mg or less of peanut protein was tested. The dose increased over time. Participants completed a regimen. They received 300 mg per day for about 24 weeks. At trial exit, they faced another food challenge.
