In mice, the dietary treatment with Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) or inulin significantly potentiated the effects of Radiation / Radiotherapy, particularly at an optimal dose of 10 Gy. The results were statistically very highly significant (p < 0.0001) and were similar for both Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin.
