A Randomized, open label phase II trial studying the treatment of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in Patients age 60 years or older without previous systemic treatment

Primary outcome measures:
From date of randomization until the date of first documented progression or date of death from any cause, whichever came first, assessed up to 40 months

The authors concluded that Pazopanib was non-inferior to doxorubicin, rendering it a putative therapeutic option in the first-line treatment of STS in patients 60 years or older. The distinct adverse event profile may be used to counsel patients and tailor therapy to individual needs.
