In a study identified as NCT01740427, it was observed that for patients who had not yet undergone treatment for advanced Breast Cancer / Mammacarcinoma (HR+) (ER+) (Her2-), the use of a combination therapy involving palbociclib and letrozole resulted in a significantly longer progression-free survival compared to the use of letrozole alone. Nonetheless, it is crucial to highlight that there was a higher incidence of myelotoxic effects in patients who received the palbociclib–letrozole combination.
