Nabilone is a synthetic cannabinoid with therapeutic use primarily as an antiemetic for the treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy. It reduces the signals in the brain that cause nausea and vomiting. Nabilone is similar to the natural substances in marijuana (cannabis).
