Escherichia coli EcAZ-2 IL10 is a genetically modified Escherichia coli strain derived from native gut bacteria and engineered to express the anti-inflammatory cytokine Interleukin-10 (IL-10) and remain stable in the gut for extended periods (mouse experiments) after oral administration.
