Konjac glucomannan hydrolysate (GMH) is a depolymerized (broken down) form of Konjac glucomannan (KGM) created by acid or enzymatic hydrolysis. The hydrolysis process significantly reduces molecular weight, creating fundamentally different functional properties. it acts primarily as a prebiotic, selectively promoting growth of beneficial Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species.
