Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) (Ph+ ALL)

Philadelphia chromosome (Ph)–positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) (Ph+ ALL)) is a subtype of acute lymphoblastic leukemia characterized by the presence of the Philadelphia chromosome, a specific genetic abnormality. It is responsible for a fusion gene called BCR-ABL, which encodes a chimeric protein with abnormal tyrosine kinase activity that promotes uncontrolled cell division and leukemia development
