However, in the context of plasmacytoma, these inhibitors are not typically used as the primary treatment for a solitary lesion. Instead, local radiotherapy is the standard approach. Systemic therapy involving proteasome inhibitors is generally reserved for situations where the disease resembles myeloma, is recurrent, disseminated, or in specific reported cases.
