Capecitabine + Neratinib & Breast Cancer / Mammacarcinoma (HER2+)

Approval status

• The FDA has approved neratinib plus capecitabine for adult patients with advanced or metastatic Breast Cancer / Mammacarcinoma (HER2+) after two or more prior anti-HER2-based regimens in the metastatic setting.


• The EMA/EU approval does not include this combination indication (3, 4)

Clinical data

Research has shown that the combination of neratinib with capecitabine has been effective in patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer, especially those with specific gene amplifications and coexistent HER2 mutations (1, 2, 3, 4)
